Option 1:
1. Plan your layout and lay your carpet tiles completely without the tape.
2. With paper side down, roll out the tape and use a utility knife to cut a 8” strip.
3. Where the tile corners touch the wall or tile, lift the corner of one tile and place the sticky side onto the back of the tile with paper side down.
4. Place the tile corner down onto the floor and lift the other three corners and press them down to floor onto sticky side of tape so all four tiles have tape on bottom and are touching.
5. You can leave paper side on and “float” tiles over the floor or peel off paper side to adhere to both tile and floor.
Option 2:
Roll out the tape sticky side down and make diagonal strips along the floor in one foot gaps so 2 pieces of the tape touch under each tile.
* To remove the tape easily, heat it with a hair dryer.
